Bournemouth 7s Festival 2015 - The World’s Largest Sport and Music Festival

Following a summer filled with expectation, the Bournemouth 7s Festival 2015 which takes over the late May Bank Holiday Weekend, is now preparing for what will be the largest and most successful event in its 8-year history.

Early Bird Tickets were released on 1st February for general sale, generating an unprecedented demand from a growing and loyal audience base since announcing the generous offer. With limited Early Bird Tickets available, it is only a matter of time before these tickets officially sell-out.

The incredible success and growth of the Festival has rightly earned it the title of the World’s Largest Sport and Music Festival and 2014 was by far the biggest event to date with a record 30,000 capacity sell-out. In 2014, an amazing 366 teams took part and competed across 4 sports; Rugby 7s, Netball 7s, Dodgeball and the newly introduced Hockey 7s. Following some fantastic feedback, it has become clear that the demand for the 2015 festival has increased significantly. To satisfy an ever-increasing demand, this summers festival will see an increase in the amount of teams competing over one and two day cups, with what will likely be over 400 teams and 5,000 sport competitors.

With a number of cups already sold out, a deadline of 28th February 2015 has been set for teams to take advantage of standard prices.  As ever, there are a number of different team and tour packages available including camping within the 3,000 capacity campsite and hospitality within the VIP Arena and V.VIP Lounges. Why not maximise your festival comfort by taking advantage of the Glamping options in the B7s V.VIP Camping Area?

Continuing on the theme of perks, teams adorned in any of the vast range of Viper 10’s playing kit, training and travel wear, will be able to take advantage of the Viper 10 Players Lounge and relax between games in a private outdoor area overlooking the National Cup Pitch.

Away from sport, live music arenas that proved a huge hit in 2014 will be returning this year and a full line up of acts will be announced soon. Festival-goers will again have access to 10 separate live arenas with those fortunate enough to secure a VIP or V.VIP wristband gaining access to exclusive areas and given the opportunity to mingle with the assembled International sports stars and celebrities.

Over recent years the event has attracted some of the biggest names from the worlds of sport and entertainment.

International rugby icons such as Former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody, Danny Care, Jamie Roberts, Alex Cuthbert, Ugo Monye, and England Netball stars Pamela Cookey and Geva Mentor are just a few of the names who regularly attend the event.

The increasingly popular Dodgeball tournaments will expand in 2015 with Viper 10 Sportswear ambassador, Lewis Moody helping to drive this forward as a regular competitor alongside a number of other sporting stars.

Bournemouth 7s is proud to work with global brands in delivering unbelievable customer experiences across the 65-acre site. The 2015 Festival will see the return of the celebrated Tuborg Beer Tent and the Kopparberg Big Top Dance Tent that proudly hosts the ever-popular Friday Night Players Party.

Alongside these fabulous arenas, Bournemouth 7s Festival was lucky enough to work in partnership with global brands such as Heathrow Express, Alcatel OneTouch, Red Bull, Jägermeister, MaxiNutrition and Gatorade in 2014 creating a range of exciting and innovative activities for sports people and festivalgoers alike! Keep your eyes on the Bournemouth 7s.com website for news and announcements about our 2015 sponsors.

Following two successive sell out events, the Bournemouth 7s Festival has firmly cemented its place on the Sport and Festival calendar and the 8th edition of this incredible festival looks set to be even better. It is an experience that every avid sport or festival lover must be part of and witness first hand!
