Friday Night Live (FNL) is the newest monthly Club-night to grace the wondrous student haven that is Fallowfield. Bringing back true house music to Manchester in the newly £2.5 Million renovated 256 Wilmslow Road (formerly Queen of Hearts), Boasting a stunning interior with a modern design and possibly the biggest beer garden in all of Manchester.
With everything from Nu-Disco all the way through to brain twisting Tech House, FNL is shaping up to bring back to Manchester the Music and emotion of the
the hay days of dance music, with a new modern contemporary twist to meet the
needs of a new breed of musically eclectic Clubber.
FNL Resident DJ's JackYour Soul (JYS), comprise of Simon Cochrane AKA DJ Roach, Paul Simons and Andres Ocampo who provide the heartbeat of this new monthly event. The trio have been on the scene from the early 90’s and with a musical style dominated by a deep house groove inspired by US DJs like Kerri Chandler and DJ Sneak, alongside influential infusions of UK DJ's such as Junior Boys Own and James Zabiela. Each member of Jack Your Soul has their own style and technique which gives Jack Your Soul its unique and fresh sound, providing their own sets with a variance and flexibility in style and musical policy. Working alongside PiedPiper Promotions, a explosive new promoter on the Manchester Music Scene, JYS are set to become a regular feature on the Manchester Club circuit.
The Monthly Friday Night Live events will feature Guest DJ's from around the
UK and further a field, giving each night its own flavour and diversity, showcasing both the established and emerging talents of the UK Club Scene. The Launch Party will see Residents Jack Your Soul joined by Dave Angle of Derby's
KindaFunkyRadio.com, alongside Mark Fleming of Manchester Global.
FNL launch Party will also be streamed live on KindafunkyRadio.com, with Student Deals and Drinks offers, and much more on the night.
