WATCHET FESTIVAL 2013 ANNOUNCE FIRST HEADLINE ACTS:
SHOWADDYWADDY (FRIDAY)
THE HOOSIERS (SATURDAY)
DREADZONE (SUNDAY)
Parsonage Farm, Watchet: WATCHET LIVE FESTIVAL, West Somersets largest outdoor music event, have announced the first headline acts for its seventh successive year.
With their Teddy Boy style and their incredible back catalogue of twenty three Top 40 hits, Showaddywaddy are the perfect band to headline the retro Friday night at Watchet Festival. The Hoosiers will bring their infections, sing-along pop rock to Saturdays proceedings, and Dreadzones hugely popular dub-reggae show will close the festival in style.
Other acts confirmed to perform include Shoot The Moon, Company B, Boot Hill All-Stars, The Rocker Covers, Subgiant, Nameless Girl, Ten Pound Suit Band and RSVP. Many more acts, including three more main stage headline bands and the festivals special guest, are yet to be announced.
Watchet LIVE is a not-for-profit family-friendly festival with amazing views of the stunning West Somerset coastline and beyond. Three live stages, including the famous Croissant Neuf solar powered venue host more than 50 live acts, bringing a wide range of high-calibre musical acts not normally found performing in West Somerset, at a very affordable price.
In addition, an Open Mic venue, the infamous Something Else Tea Tent, a Silent Disco, The Griffin Tent featuring dance workshops and a large Festival Market ensure there really is something for everyone. There are also all the usual festival amenities you would expect: a large campsite with a reserved families-only zone; secure on site car parking; an extensive Food Court, Real Ale and Cider Bar and free kids-zone
Efestivals.co.uk say that, Watchet is a lovely little festival and neonfiller.com described it as, One of the UK's most eclectic boutique festivals
With a host of internationally renowned artists performing, a friendly 'small festival' vibe, stunning views across the West Somerset coastline, and a full range of tickets and camping options, WATCHET LIVE is a fantastic festival and a perfect place to spend August Bank Holiday weekend.
