Preston quartet Next Stop Atlanta announce co-headline tour
Preston party-pop-punk quartet Next Stop Atlanta are kick-starting their 2013 announcing news today of a co-headline tour with friends Everybody Looks Famous and a brand new single Get In The Van. With their self-titled debut EP produced by Matt O'Grady (You Me At Six, The Blackout, Deaf Havana) and mini-album The Things You Do Best under their belt in 2012, the band are keen to keep their success rolling this year as they head out on tour once more.
"We are thrilled to be hitting the road and reaching out to our fans once again” says Next Stop Atlanta guitarist Nik Taylor ”With this short tour it gives the opportunity to play a bunch of new songs and build our audience across the UK. Hope to see you at a show!”
Everybody Looks Famous front woman Alexis “Lex” Pretorius kept it short and sweet, much like herself, saying “E.L.F and N.S.A on tour in the North... are you ready for the first major party of 2013?!"
Alongside the tour dates Next Stop Atlanta are pleased to announce that their new single Get In The Van will be released on Monday 18th February with an accompanying video from the creative masterminds at Rolling Vision. The single takes the band’s usual flair for a catchy chorus and shoots it full of adrenaline-boosted riffs รก la scene favourites Four Year Strong, a sound which could surprise those who thought they’d heard all that the band had to offer.
“It’s such a cool jam to play live because it has so much energy” says front woman Georgia Peters of the new single “It really shows our harder side with the double-time tempo in the verses. We wrote the song whilst we were on tour with Kids Can’t Fly and it’s about touring life and being out on the road sharing amazing experiences amongst friends.”
