Treacherous Dogs on UK tour ahead of debut E.P. release
Treacherous Dogs are an English indie rock band, formed in London in late 2012, consisting of Lewis Parker (lead vocals,lead/rhythm guitar),Dean Meekings (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Liam Sinnott (drums, backing vocals).
Formed after the split of their previous band,The Jude, the trio immediately set about writing and producing new material in Parker’s own studio in North London with the aim of following up the success of previous works, such as the popular single ‘Les Filles Francaises’ which was on rotation at BBC Radio 1,BBC6 Introducing and XFM, as well as other regional radio stations.
The song received favorable reviews from all, with Huw Stevens and Steve Lamacq championing the track.
TD’ssound has been described as an eclectic mix of 70s garage rock infused with northern soul beats and punk/surf rock inspired guitars.
Their influences are said to range from The Strokes, New Order, Dick Dale, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys and Northern Soul acts.
The band is currently playing the UK circuit and have plans to complete and release their debut EP in 2014, followed by a UK tour shortly afterwards.
