Say Lou Lou release brand new video for Games For Girls

Say Lou Lou announce that their debut album ‘Lucid Dreaming’ will be released through Columbia Records on February 2nd 2015. This will be preceded by their brand new single ‘Games For Girls’, a thrilling collaboration with fellow-Scandi producer Lindstrøm, released on October 27th 2014.

Destined to tear up dancefloors across Europe and beyond this summer, ‘Games For Girls’ is an addictive slice of contemporary electro-disco, delivered with the effortless panache that we have come to expect from twin sisters Miranda and Elektra who formed Say Lou Lou just two years ago. With Lindstrøm at the production helm they have come together to create a joyous dancefloor smash that sits with the very best of the electronic music to have come out of Scandinavia in recent years.

Following it’s debut on Pitchfork,  ‘Games For Girls’ has attracted critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic with Stereogum saying “The combination is a powerful one. Lindstrøm’s production is typically earthshaking, but Say Lou Lou have given it a playful double-dutch melody, and it all just works together.” Meanwhile DIY described the track as “Disco all over, a foot-stomping, glitter-doused, twinkling tour de force.”

The track will come with brilliant mix by Alex Metric and a very special video shot by music video director Dimitri Basil (Flight Facilities, Vance Joy, Snakadaktal) that sees the girls teaming up with video collective Welcome to Cult and other local artists to play social pranks on an unassuming Los Angeles. From altering highway billboards to creating guerrilla installations in art galleries the band truly take the title of the track to heart!

Meanwhile Say Lou Lou return to London for a headline show at Heaven on December 4th 2014. Tickets are available at http://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/say-lou-lou-tickets and onsale from Friday 15th August. This follows numerous headline shows and major festival performances through 2014.  The London show is preceded by shows in Berlin on November 23rd and Hamburg on 24th with more UK shows coming in 2015.

Say Lou Lou release their debut single, Better In The Dark

Say Lou Lou release their debut single, Better In The Dark

Say Lou Lou release their debut single, Better In The Dark

After releasing the quietly devastating tracks "Maybe You" and “Julian” the deliciously melancholic Say Lou Lou release their debut single on Columbia Records, ‘Better In The Dark’, on 16th December. ‘Better in the Dark’ comes as a double A-side accompanied with a stunning b-side ‘Beloved’.

Say Lou Lou are 21 year old Swedish/Australian twin sisters Miranda and Elektra Kilbey and they are currently finishing off their self-written debut album which has been recorded in London, Sweden and Los Angeles. The album will be released early in 2014.

Self created and self imagined, Say Lou Lou have come to worldwide attention since their formation just eighteen months ago with the two fantastic songs and their attendant B-sides. NME said of “Maybe You, ‘On their haunting first single Miranda and Elektra cut deep with a wounded despondent ballad that takes pop’s penchant for the superficial and drowns it in a sea of sorrows’ whilst The Sunday Times called them ‘a red hot tip’. Meanwhile in the US they have been shot by  Interview Magazine and V Magazine so far’. Released earlier this year as a b-side on the vinyl release to "Julian," another stunning track "Fool of Me" (recorded with Chet Faker) has been highlighted on Pitchfork, Idolator and MTV Buzzworthy as a potential breakout song for the duo.

In addition to the singles the band have created incredible imagery for each track with two videos by  director Philippe Tempelman which have already chalked up nearly one million views in the past few months. As well as their own headline dates in the UK, Say Lou Lou have toured Europe and shared stages with the likes of Twin Shadow, Kindness, Ariel Pink and HURTS.

Say Lou Lou embarked on their most recent European tour this month, in support of Foals, and return with their own headline show in London at Concrete on 13th November 2013.

Tickets for their London show are available at http://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/say-lou-lou-tickets
