W.A.R. We Are Rockstars Ibiza reveal 2015 line-ups

Having only been running for a few years – the W.A.R. We Are Rockstars Ibiza 2015 party is quickly becoming the hottest ticket in San Antonio. Every week you can see the biggest DJs and the coolest new acts take to the Ibiza Rocks stage to deliver sets that will have the hair on your arms raise!

Set in the centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the W.A.R. We Are Rockstars Ibiza 2015 starts early in the evening and allows you to hear your favourite DJs and electronic acts under the blazing-hot heat of the Ibiza sun! The resident DJs do a great job of getting the party started with their sets, offering up a few classics a long the way – as well as throwing in a nod or two to the headline act which will be appearing soon.

If we look back to last year we saw acts such as Example and DJ Wire, Zane Lowe, Gorgon City, Redlight, DJ EZ, Ms Dynamite, Javeon and many more. The team have been researching the hottest new underground acts during the winter to offer a truly spectacular line up for W.A.R. We Are Rockstars Ibiza 2015. We will be announcing some of the first acts in the early part of 2015 – so keep an eye on Ibiza 2015 for the latest information!

W.A.R. We Are Rockstars Ibiza 2015 will be held over 16 weeks in the summer – opening on Friday 5th June 2015 and closing on Wednesday 18th September 2015.

Whilst Ibiza Rocks on Wednesday concentrates on the best in live music and bands, Fridays are where We Are Rockstars tears up the rule book and introduces the best current DJs and electronic artists to the stage.

W.A.R! Ibiza announce Rinse FM show with Route 94, Oneman, Yasmin and more

We Are Rockstars! unveil yet another incredible line-up to join their summer long residency.  On September 12th, W.A.R! team up with Rinse FM as part of the legendary radio station's 20th anniversary, bringing with them recent chart-topper Route 94, Oneman, Yasmin, Jess Glynne and Tom Shorterz for what is set to be one of the biggest events of their season. With a line-up of the most iconic electronic acts and hottest underground talent, including Fatboy Slim, Example, 2manydjs, Redlight, Meridian Dan and Bondax, W.A.R! is THE place to visit this summer.

From it's inception in 1994, Rinse FM has grown from the pirate airwaves of London to become a globally dominating source for underground music. Having championed acts such as Skream, Dizzee Rascal and Kode9 in their early years, Rinse FM will team up with W.A.R! for an unmissable event between 2 of the greatest purveyors of underground electronic music today. Having stormed the charts earlier this year with 'My Love', Route 94 has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the most dominant names in house music today. Joining him is one of the UK's most accomplished DJs, Oneman, who is famed for his genre merging music selections and effortless ability to work a crowd. Rinse FM resident Yasmin and Clean Bandit collaborator Jess Glynne will both perform live for the W.A.R! revellers, while hotly tipped bass maestro Tom Shorterz completes yet another incredible line-up for W.A.R!.  

W.A.R! kicks off this Friday with its opening party featuring Gorgon City, Doorly, the hotly tipped Javeon and W.A.R!'s biggest supporter and master of the decks, Zane Lowe. What follows will be an unforgettable 4 months on the Isle featuring 2manydjs, Toddla T, DJ EZ, Mark Ronson and an exclusive 'Eat, Sleep, Rocks, Repeat' event curated by Fatboy Slim While hosting some of the biggest names in electronic music alongside the most exciting underground talent, W.A.R! promises to make this Ibiza season the most memorable one yet.

WE ARE ROCKSTARS (W.A.R!) is a brand new weekly night about to hit the Balearics with a bang.  The electronic fuelled, DJ led night will see an incredible mix of the most influential and exciting names in electronic music take over the famous outdoor ‘Rocks’ stage at the Mallorca Rocks Hotel (Thursdays) and Ibiza Rocks Hotel (Fridays) for 16 weeks straight from June through to September 2012.

New additions to the already incredible line up are Chase and Status with three exclusive shows (Mallorca only), DJ Fresh, Jaymo  and Andy George, Breakage, Feed Me, Disclosure, Rudimental, Ms Dynamite, Shy FX, Sub Focus, Dillon Francis, Jakwob, Citizen, Mista Jam, Union, Dismantle, Toddla T, Oneman and two special nights WE ARE ROCKSTARS PRESENTS..RINSE with Katy B, Devlin, Zinc, Joker, P Money, Ms Dynamite and Roska (Ibiza only) and WE ARE ROCKSTARS PRESENTS.. HOSPITALITY with Netsky, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Nu:tone and Wrec (Ibiza only).

The early evening, outdoor shows will welcome exclusive appearances by the formidable musical force that is internationally renowned producer Mark Ronson and Ibiza Rock’s Music Director Zane Lowe.  The master DJ duo lead a line-up that also includes the hugely influential first lady of Radio 1, Annie Mac (Mallorca only) and the pioneers of British dubstep Magnetic Man.

Example + DJ Wire will be teaming up for no less than five shows across the islands, Major Lazer will play both Mallorca (exclusive) and Ibiza with support in Ibiza from Radio 1’s newest DJ Toddla T. Fellow rising stars of Radio 1, Skream and Benga, bring longtime collaborator Sgt Pokes and vocalist Youngman for exclusive back to back shows in both Ibiza and Mallorca. As always, the heavyweights are joined by the best in breakthrough talent and it’s with great excitement that two of the freshest names in electronic music, Disclosure and Rudimental are making their Balaeric debuts at W.A.R! with multiple shows across the islands.

Many of these incredible purveyors of electronic music are headlining festivals across the globe and now they take their rightful position as headliners at the best outdoor music venue in the Balearics – the Rocks hotels.  The Ibiza Rocks brand has been the driving force behind outdoor clubbing events in the White Isle and continues to lead the way.  Real music lovers can forget waiting for midnight to hit the crammed ‘superclubs’ with the masses and opt to go to W.A.R! to dance under the stars, with the most influential talent at the forefront of electronic music.

With the welcome addition of new weekly night We Are Rockstars, the ‘Rocks’ Hotels are doubling their events offering and now hosting two major music shows per week – that’s 64 headline events across 16 weeks in both Mallorca and Ibiza this summer!

W.A.R! will take on the same 7pm – midnight slot as the ‘Rocks’ gigs, outdoor under the sweet Balearic stars.  The world’s best DJs, incredible production, the famous outdoor rocks stage, a unique atmosphere and you. We Are All Rockstars!
