Kid British @ Moho - Hungry Pigeon
Kid British came to the Moho in Manchester for this year’s Hungry Pigeon Festival to perform an acoustic set to an extremely packed audience. After a little crowd reaction and joviality the band kicked straight into their first number “part of the job” followed seamlessly into the brand new song “ Right as Rain” a great little number showing off Kid British’s smooth melodic vocals and nifty lyrics which has been heralded by many within the music business. Throughout the gig the band had great crowd interaction which brought the audience in and made the gig more intimate and friendly. With great tracks like “Lost in London” they connected with the room full of northerners who probably have all been lost their at some point in time, well I know I have! Kid British have unmistakable northern charm and elements of mischievousness which makes them endearing and with vocal. Musical and lyrical talent I can envisage the rest of the UK will soon be following them and making them the success they deserve to be.
