MusicMafiaUK introduce Forever

Forever August are an Alternative Rock/Pop band made up of two sets of Brothers, twins Adam and Dan Franklin and Joseph and Matthew Purdue. The band which came together at school have been writing and performing together for over three years now. In early 2010, the band worked together with a management company (Century Media Corp) who believed the band had wide appeal with “catchy chorus melodies, and a unique, commercial sound.” Unfortunately the company was forced to drop all its acts as a result of the recession, but the band learned a lot about the importance of appeal and structure within commercial song writing.

Over the last year the band has focused largely on defining their sound and writing the material for their first album. Four songs, including the recently released single “Who Said It Was Over” have been recorded at Long Wave Studios, Cardiff . The band are ready and booked to record four more songs there this April, and the final part of the first album in the summer. Forever August copyright all of their material and own a UK registered trade mark on the band name.
Forever August recently made their first official release with the single “Who Said It Was Over” both online, through stores including iTunes and on CD available through the bands website.

The song was promoted online and on TV with the bands first official music video
(available at www.foreveraugust.com).

The band’s long term ambitions are to make a living out of writing and performing music, through both record sales and touring, starting with the UK, and eventually the USA. To do this the bands next major step is to find a management company that is passionate about their music and can help the band to reach their target audience and create a following.

You can catch the guys at the Dry Bar in Manchester on the 7th July
