Daisy Hicks releases new single Million Years

British born, Australian raised singer / songwriter Daisy Hicks kicks off the preparations for her third commercial album with the release of her fantastic new single 'Million Years'.
Born into a musically distinguished family tree, Daisy is the daughter of legendary jazz-drummer Tony Hicks and is also closely related to international recording star Chris Rea. With a long and illustrious discography already under her belt, Daisy has received vast commercial radio success, including a #1 in RadioDirectX.com, airplay in over 20 countries and strong support from the likes of BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and leading stations in Japan with her debut album ‘Mistress’. The eclectic singer has also toured in Australia, Asia, Europe and the UK, and continues to enjoy unrelenting ambient support from leading content providers in various territories worldwide.
Daisy's latest single, titled 'Million Years', is an infectious Balearic-tinged house track, and is already picking up fantastic feedback from club and radio DJs alike. Produced by Aron Friedman and co-written by Daisy and Jeff Franzel (Josh Groban / Placido Domingo, N Sync) in NYC, the song is driven by a dance inducing melody which allows Daisy to deliver an immaculate vocal delivery from beginning to end. The single is also accompanied by remixes from Almighty and High Society, as well as a simple yet brilliantly uplifting video featuring members of the public in Germany, Netherlands and the UK.
