August was a busy month for Designer Magazine (in fact one of the busiest in 7 years of Designer Magazine gigs) and yet again in early September Designer Magazine are providing plenty of musical thrills for those who love Rock & Roll even when the students aren't here.

Huddersfields Silence Rises have just been on a short tour with The Wedding Present. With musical influences as diverse as the Smiths through to Mogwai and Ennio Morricone through to Death Cab for Cutie.

These influences are apparent in the genre crossing musical styles and technically adept live performances.
