Space announce 11-date UK tour (Oct-Nov 12)

Liverpool nineties stars, SPACE have announced 11 UK dates for autumn 2012, almost a year since they reformed to perform to a sell-out O₂ Academy Liverpool crowd in their hometown in December 2011.

The platinum selling band released four studio albums plus numerous chart smashes before they dismembered in 2005, famed for hits including ‘Female of The Species’,, an instant classic, staying in the UK Top 40 for a staggering 3 months, as well as ‘Neighbourhood’and ‘Avenging Angels’.

"It felt fantastic to play Liverpool again as Space. I started to play the Space songs again last summer and got nostalgic about the band. I think a lot of it is down to timing, it just feels right at the moment to give it a go again and we're all looking forward to what 2012 will bring"says Tommy Scott (vocals/guitar).

The debut album Spiders was a resounding critical success for the band following up with three sold out tours and a further four Top 20 singles, bringing Space recognition in the USA and airplay on MTV. With all the prior success in the late nineties and early nougties,SPACE are back to showcase their talent and give their fans the full experience of their entertaining stage performance and classic hits, along with tracks from their forthcoming new studio album.
