Signal Aurora new single “Clear” released on 4th March 2013.
Signal Aurora are a 4-piece Indie/Rock band hailing from Garswood, a small village near Wigan.
Inspired by the likes of Feeder, Sigur Ros and Snow Patrol; childhood friends David Brown (songwriter, Vocals, Guitars) and Alan Roberts (Guitars, Backing Vocals) formed under the name Signal Aurora in 2009. Throughout 2009 DB and AR hit the recording studio to record the pick of their songs, shaping and developing their sound - Signal Aurora was born, Anthemic Indie/Rock through and through! In 2010 Liam Clough (Drums) and Dave Fairhurst (Bass) joined the fold and the full band line-up was complete.
In 2011 the band made waves in the northwest music scene following release of their debut EP in July 2011.
2012 saw the band build on their growing local reputation, taking a foothold in the northwest music scene. In the midst of this the band finished the recording of their upcoming debut album “A Flickering Of Light” from which the second single “Clear” is due for release under independent label ‘Over Engineered Records’ on 4th March 2013; The album due for release later in the year.
