Regularly featuring in TV commercials, 2012 saw the multifaceted artist taking the leap to the silver screen for the first time, securing a small role in the critically acclaimed, #1 Australian box office hit, The Sapphires.
Adding ‘philanthropist’ to his growing list of skills as well, Barry is an ambassador for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
Currently working on a follow-up to his Epitome EP, Southgate features onDiafrix’s latest offering, Pocket Full Of Dreams. The exciting release finds him in stellar company, including ARIA winner 360, X-Factor NZ judge Stan Walker, American artist Dwele, and the soulful Daniel Merriweather.
