Nine Black Alps Announce new single, video and tour

Grunge-rockers Nine Black Alps are set to release new single ‘Novokaine’ on 2nd December to coincide with a short run of live dates in November.

The single marks the first release for new Leeds-based record label, Hatch Records, which, has emerged from the demise earlier this year of the influential and underground Brew Records.

NBA frontman, Sam Forrest sees this as a logical progression from the excellent relationship the band had with Brew with Hatch carrying on with similar ideas and an ethos that made Brew such a special label.

Nine Black Alps returned in 2012 with their  4th album ‘Sirens’ and ‘Novokaine’ is the first taster from their fifth studio record set for release in the first quarter of 2014. It’s a far more distorted and rockier affair that harks back to past albums ‘Everything is’ and ‘Love/Hate’

Tickets for the tour are on sale now and support will come from another Hatch signing to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Nine Black Alps have also announced a one off December date in Manchester. It makes the 10 year anniversary of the first ever Nine Black Alps show.
