SILVER ARM’s first three self-released singles and their sole digital only release for The Shipping Forecast label have found radio support from STEVE LAMACQ, TOM ROBINSON and SIMON RAYMONDE and praise online from THE 405, GOD IS IN THE TV, THE NEEDLE DROP, ARTROCKER and DOUGHNUT MAGAZINE amongst others. Members of the band have previously played in Mercury nominated MAPS and their Dead Tongues single was featured on the FAT CAT RECORDS demo site, receiving  over 10,000 plays.

HE OF THE SLOW CREEP EP is the band’s first physical release, arriving on 10” white vinyl through BIG TEA RECORDS on March 3rd 2014 and produced by RORY ATTWELL (PALMA VIOLETS, MALE BONDING, THE VACCINES) at the Lightship95 floating studio in London. Comprising four tracks steeped in the post-punk of the eighties, the grunge of the early nineties and the post-hardcore of the early millennium years, the band’s infectious grooves married with dirty notes, furious drums and fervent vocals make for a unique sonic experience.

2014 is to be a big year for SILVER ARM. Having already been tipped as ones to watch for 2014 by the influential GOD IS IN THE TV, the HE OF THE SLOW CREEP EP looks set to take the band to the next level in their career.

SILVER ARM EP LAUNCH PARTY The Hope and Anchor, Islington on Friday February 28th.
