Mourning Birds release 3rd single Breath
With multiple radio plays (including various track of the week accolades) and fantastic reactions, already, 'Breathe' will be the third release from bluesy garage rockers, Mourning Birds. It is, yet again, a giant of a song.
Since the end of November, when Jimmy Gilder (guitar/vocals), Sam Mitchell (drums/vocals) and Bill Williams (bass guitar) introduced themselves with 'Oh Yeh!', the youthful, punky energy of the Medway trio (on DIY Kent independent, The Preservation Society Presents) has sparked excitement and entertainment in equal measures.
Nirvana-esque second, single 'Eve Of The Isle' earned them a self-made, debut UK tour of summer 2014 festivals.
Having grabbed a following crew and media attention over these last six months, the band are catching the attention of industry through their unpredictable and chaotic live presence. The next chances to catch Mourning Birds fever:
