Sia releases video for new single Big Girls Cry
Today sees the announcement of Sia's new UK single "Big Girls Cry" and release of the video which premiered on Dazed Digital this morning. The new video ends the stunning triptych of videos Sia has crafted with her incredible creative team including dancer Maddie Ziegler, co-director Daniel Askill and choreographer Ryan Heffington.
Following the incredible global success of recent release "Elastic Heart" and chart topping anthem "Chandelier", Sia has teamed up once again with renowned producer Greg Kurstin, along with Chris Braide. "Big Girls Cry" is fuelled by percussion heavy backing and melancholic melodies, allowing Sia's distinctive vocals to soar effortlessly above the captivating chorus.
Sia is an astoundingly prolific hit maker and songwriter, who has penned numerous chart topping hits over the last few years. In 2013 alone, she crafted songs for pop icons including Rihanna ("Diamonds), Katy Perry ("Double Rainbow"), Britney Spears ("Perfume"), Beyoncé ("Pretty Hurts") and Celine Dion, as well as working with Diplo, The Weeknd, Kylie Minogue, Angel Haze, and executively producing label mate Brooke Candy's forthcoming album.
