Early Bird V festival tickets on sale Wednesday 22nd August

With music lovers still elated from this year’s incredible V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, fans are being given the chance to get their hands on tickets for V Festival 2013 early – at 2012 prices.

V Festival 2013 will take place across the weekend of August 17th – 18th, with tickets are on sale from Wednesday 22nd August from 9am, for a limited period of time. So fans are urged to be quick.

Luxury camping tickets through V Style, where fans can reserve their own ready built Pod Pads, Cloud Yurts, Tipis and pop-up hotel rooms will also be available, along with festival ticket and coach packages through the Big Green Coach at 2012 prices.

V Festival Director, Simon Moran comments:

“With this year’s stellar line up, there was once again an incredible demand for tickets and as ever we’d like to give V fans the chance to get their hands on next year’s early. This 2012 line up was one of the most exciting yet so next year’s festival has a lot to live up to, but I’m sure it won’t disappoint.”

Excitement is building for the seventeenth annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, which is set to showcase one of the most exciting line ups yet. Music lovers are now being given another chance to head to the festival, with additional tickets to Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford going on sale at 9am on Friday 27th April from www.vfestival.com.  
Across the weekend of the 18th and 19th August, festival goers will be treated to a great line up, with the likes of the Stone Roses, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Nicki Minajbeing joined on the bill by acts announced earlier this week, including Rita Ora, Newton Faulkner, Wretch 32, Gossip, Beverley Knight and Cher Lloyd.
For those looking to add a touch of luxury to this year’s festival experience V Style packages are still available. The popular luxury camping facilities will once again give people the chance to get the best of both worlds – being able to dance the days away with their favourite artists before chilling-out, in luxury, in ready built Pod Pads, Cloud Yurts, Hearthworks Tipis and pop-up hotel rooms.
Environmentally conscious festival lovers can still take advantage of coach and ticket packages courtesy the BigGreen Coach. Coach travel is the most environmentally friendly way of getting to V Festival this summer.
V organisers once again stress that fans should only purchase tickets through official outlets listed on the V Festival website and that purchasing from unofficial outlets could lead to disappointment.

The V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, today sold out in two hours, proving that it is undoubtedly this summer’s hottest ticket. Tickets for sites in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, went on sale at 10am on Friday 2nd March and by 12pm they had all been snapped up.
This year’s line up has proven to be one of the most popular in V Festival's seventeen year history, with the recently reunited Stone Roses and fellow rockers from across the pond The Killers promising to give fans a weekend to remember. Joining them on the bill is aplethora of music royalty including Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the first lady of American hip-hop Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Tinie Tempah and the Brit Award winning Ed Sheeran.
Festival Director, Simon Moran commented:
“Each year the festival goes from strength to strength and that’s credit to the outstanding artists that take to the stages across the weekend, and the fans that attend year-on-year creating a uniqueatmosphere.”
Also making a welcome return to the festival this year is the Glee Club Comedy Tent, with a line up that will include the comedy genius of Edinburgh favourite Tim Minchin.

Ziggy Marley,D12,Kassidy, plus many more added to 2011 V Festival Line up




V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, is proud to announce another string of fresh talent to the 2011 line up including Kassidy, The Knux, Twenty Twenty, Slaughterhouse, Big Country and Aloe Blacc. Ziggy Marley will also be bringing his reggae style to the stage in what promises to be a spectacular weekend of live music across the 20th and 21st August.

Hip-hop heavyweights D12 will also be making their debut on V Festival soil for their own stand out performance adding to a line up that already features their long-term collaborator Eminem.

Professor Green, Wretch 32 added to V Festival line-up



Contary to popular belief Dolly Parton the queen of country music has not been added to this years V Festival line up.
But Professor Green,Labrinth, Chiddy Bang and Wretch 32 have been announced to add to a bill that already has Eminem and Plan B and Rhianna on it.


To see the line-ups click for Hylands Park, Chelmsford or Weston Park, Staffordshire.

Tickets were priced at £175 for a weekend pass with camping, and £149 weekend pass without camping. A day ticket was priced at £83.50, and a campervan pass is priced at £99. Only VIP Luxury packages are still available.
