Mindz releases Recorded Delivery
Nottingham based recording artist Mindz
stamps his name firmly on the map with 'Recorded Delivery' - a 20 track
deep mixtape featuring a selection of hip hop / grime anthems.
Known
for many underground features including the urban myth collaboration
album entitled 'The Middle East Collection' (alongside Leicester based
artist and producer A-Bomb of Yard 26 Recordings), and various features
with Trans-Atlantic producer Endemic and local artist J.Gold, Mindz
is fast becoming an established name in the East Midlands hip hop
scene. Combining lyrical real life verses with hard hitting drums and
both acoustic and electronic soundscapes, Mindz crafts pure narratives from the heart of Britain's inner city streets.
Now with his sights firmly set on the world stage, Mindz
has emerged from beneath the surface with his new solo début 'Recorded
Delivery'. Championed by Nottingham's BBC 1Xtra playlisted artist /
Charlie Sloth's Fire-In-The-Booth star Micky Grim as "the best unofficial album / mixtape out so far this year", 'Recorded Delivery' sees Mindz
dispatch a barrage of savvy wordplay and powerfully sagacious lyricism.
Featuring production from the likes of Beat Butcha (Mobb Deep, Mac
Miller, Xzibit), Kimbo Hareez (D12, St Laz) and Wizard (Verb-T, Ramson
Badbonez, Taskforce), the mixtape flits effortlessly between hip hop and
grime, with hints of dubstep, dance and soul thrown in for good
measure. From the sample driven dusty rhythms of 'Up In Flames', to the
arpeggiated trance-esque melodies of 'So High', underground purists will
