The Call Back Academy are a 5 piece band from Brighton UK who play pop punk/heavy music but remain true to their english home. (so dont sing with american accents which it seems alot of pop punk bands do these days!)
They are releasing their new EP 'chapters' which recieved 8/10 From rocksound Magazine and was also used as their cover mount with over 35,000 copies being shifted in the UK through them. They then made them their 'Band of the week'
Their sound comes from a mix of love for Pop punk music such as Blink 182, New found glory, The story so far, Transit, Four Year Strong and then the heavy elements of bands such as Bring me the horizon, A day to rememeber, Architects ect. But they wanted to make this mix possible whilst maintaining a british front as this is usually lost by alot of bands from this country playing these styles.
They are looking to stream a track from the EP every month starting ASAP via soundcloud on the lead up to the EP's public release date which will be in JUNE 2013. It will be released for a FREE download via soundcloud. The first track 'These Caving Walls' which is the opening track is a heavier take on pop punk, and is the heaviest track on the EP.
