HYTE Ibiza releases its season calendar for a massive 18 week lineup at Ibiza’s Amnesia.

Running from 3rd June until 30th September, HYTE has brought together a selection of artists that collectively represent a new movement in Ibiza clubbing culture. Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, DJ Harvey and DJ Tennis all join for dates throughout the season, as well as Berlin’s DeWalta, Amnesia favourites Mar-T and Cuartero, and Ibiza’s new hero, WHO.

The lineup of guests runs deep; from legends such as Robert Hood as Floorplan and Kenny Dope, to big hitters from the underground such as Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd and Anthony Parasole. Island vibes come courtesy of favourites such as tINI, Guti and Point G AKA DJ Gregory. DJ Koze, Mano Le Tough and John Talabot each bring their own eccentricity into the mix, with Matthew Dear, Bicep, Job Jobse, Monoloc and Harvard Bass all creating a spectrum of diversity from melodic pop grooves to heavy hitting bass.

HYTE presents a musical vision that is crafted from the warehouses, clubs and beaches around the world. The original flavour of the island with the language and sounds of today.

Taking up a residency at Beachouse, the latest venue on the golden sands of Playa d’en Bossa, long time contributor Guti will be presenting the weekly events in June and September, curating a lineup of Ibiza favourites and newcomers alike, providing the perfect summer soundtrack to island life.

People Like Us is an infinite story. A story about young people and what they dream, sodden by smooth tape recorded music and a retro future mood. It is a story about fascination for electronic music and collaboration between like minded artists. We share the love of club culture, of the dancefloor, of beach life, of living life.

With early roots in the world of Jazz, Guti’s music crosses cultural borders. Curiosity, irony and creativity mark his fusion of musical genres and exploration into electronic music. It is this boundary blurring approach that brings the perfect musical harmony between Guti and People Like Us.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza,  two of the hottest party hotels on Ibiza’s Playa d’en Bossa, are joining forces with UK super club, Cream, to bring the globally recognised, award-winning festival, Creamfields, to the party capital of the world.

Creamfields Ibiza will take place on Saturday 1st August across The Ushuaïa Club and The Ushuaïa Tower, which together make up the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, and its neighbouring property Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, all located on the Playa d’en Bossa beachfront.

Headlining this inaugural event is one of the world’s biggest dance acts, The Prodigy, a seminal act that has played an integral part in the evolution of the dance scene since the early 90s.  They will be joined by over 25 of the hottest electronic artists including Above and Beyond, Afrojack, Andrea Oliva, Annie Mac, Ben Pearce, Deetron, DJ Sneak, Eddie Temple Morris, Hannah Wants, Ilario Alicante, Los Suruba, Matrix & Futurebound, Mistajam, MK, Modestep, Pendulum (DJ Set), Pete Tong, Sigma, Steve Angello and Wilkinson. Lasting between midday and midnight, the festival promises twelve hours of exhilarating house, electronic, techno and underground beats across the three venues.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has announced that it will be hosting the launch party of DJ Andrea Oliva’s debut album, ‘4313’ on Saturday 23rd May 2015.

Taking place between 5pm and midnight at the glamorous Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club Restaurant, sitting in front of The Ushuaïa Club in the heart of Playa d’en Bossa, Andrea Oliva will treat guests to a four hour set as the Mediterranean sun goes down.

As a resident DJ at Ushuaїa’s weekly ANTS party over the last two years, an event that has helped revolutionise Saturdays on the White Isle, the Swiss DJ/Producer has chosen an apt venue to launch his debut album. Oliva is now one of the most popular DJs on the Ibiza circuit as well as one of the most sought-after producers currently around.

The launch party is being held in association with The Night League, Bossa Beats and International Music Summit (IMS), which is taking place at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza between 20th and 23rd May 2015, and will also feature DJ sets by Jimi Jules and Clara da Costa.

Carl Cox and Safehouse Management complete their line-up today, with the final announcement of who’s playing the last four weeks of Music Is Revolution – The Next Phase.

Joining the already impressive line-up for the final weeks are: 1st September - Adam Beyer, Carl Craig and another appearance from Yousef in the main room, whilst John Digweed, Reboot and Victor Calderone look after the covered terrace. 8th September sees Nina Kraviz and Carlo Lio join Carl in the Discoteca, with Marco Carola, Guy J and Elio Riso on the terrace.

15th September’s main room is Carl, Pan-Pot and Intec’s Jon Rundell and Circus take over the terrace with sets from Bristol bass music maestro Eats Everything, Yousef and David Glass. And finally the closing party on 22nd September, ending the season in style with Carl, Loco Dice and tINI and on the terrace, DJ Sneak, Monika Kruse and Just Be.

These final additions join a whole host of names already confirmed for the season – a who’s who of dance heavy weights and new DJ talent:

In the main room there’s Marco Bailey, the very much in-demand Joseph Capriati, Italy’s king of Techno Marco Carola, Berghain resident Cassy, Deetron, Argentina’s Guti (Live), Heidi, Nicole Moudaber, Steve Rachmad, Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann and DC 10 favourite Tania Vulcano.

Whilst on the terrace across the season there’s MadTech’s label-head Kerri Chandler, Anna, Canada’s illustrious Art Department, Lewis Boardman, Joe Brunning plus Catz ’N Dogz, Nic Fanciulli, Alan Fitzpatrick, , David Glass, Mark Knight, Stefano Noferini, Andrea Oliva, the legendary Sasha, Uner, Umek and Suara Record’s Coyu going b2b and Cristian Varela.  Full line up and dates below.

Safehouse have also confirmed that for the first time, they’ll be working with Reach Up and Electronique alongside Digital Groove who will all be hosting nights in the El Salon throughout the season. There’s also After Dark with Mr Doris presenting various nights on the Sunset Terrace and hosts of the Premier Etage will include Awaken Ibiza and Clara Da Costa Presents Jacks House (who’s guests across 3 dates will be Francesco Robustelli, Hanfry Martinez and Alex Arnout) – more details on all of this to come.

Furthermore, carrying on the collaboration from last year, Ibiza Sonica Radio will be broadcasting live from the Sunset Terrace, with some of the headline DJ's playing special sets earlier in the night, all kicking off from 21:00. Already confirmed: Carl Cox, Umek and Yousef.

Ibiza Rocks is the home of live music in Ibiza. Since invading the island of dance in 2005 Ibiza Rocks has quite simply destroyed preconceptions of Ibiza and continues to do so as the most forward-thinking, risk-taking, rule defying live music promoter on the island – the ONLY promoter to bring hip hop heroes De La Soul and global hit-machine Mark Ronson to perform exclusive shows under the Balearic stars.

Mark Ronson has been on Rocks’ rollercoaster ride from the start, mixing it up between shows with his full live band and DJing as A-YO with his partner in crime and fellow Rocks champion Zane Lowe. Following stratospheric success with global smash hit ‘Uptown Funk’ Mark’s status as a musician and producer has further soared. As a musical genius who grew up in the golden era of hip hop, but with a huge passion for guitars, Mark Ronson is not only the perfect fit for Rocks, he’s a true friend who will be welcomed back home on 9th September at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, bringing with him an exciting new live talent to showcase under the stars. This show will also feature sets from cutting-edge East London party crew Shorebitch, infamous for creating London’s most unforgettable underground parties.

Mark Ronson said: “I’ve been playing Ibiza Rocks since 2006, that crew is like family to me.  It’s been the site of some of my favourite gigs ever--either with the band or DJing with my brother, Zane Lowe. I can’t wait to be playing back there this summer.”

Following a ground-breaking hip-hop gig last summer with NAS, who performed his 1994 debut Illmatic in its entirety, Rocks is proudly bringing another hip-hop act of iconic status to the world-famous Rocks stage. De La Soul created a hip-hop masterpiece with their game-changing 1989 debut album ‘3 Feet high and rising’ - the Prince Paul collaboration that gave us ‘Me Myself and I’ “The Magic Number’ and so much more. Over 25 years later, this album is still citied as one of the best albums of all time and THE best rap album of all time.

 From groundbreaking past hits to their 2006 Grammy award winning Gorillaz collaboration “Feel Good Inc’, De La Soul have not only survived 3 decades in the music industry, they’ve inspired and influenced 3 decades of musicians, critics and fans alike. BBC 6 Music’s DJ Yoda will support De La Soul with a special ’40 years of hip hop’ audio visual set, bringing with him a wealth of heritage whilst Ibiza resident turned UK hip hop social media sensation Harley Maxwell will represent the new element of the UK scene with tracks from his ‘Summer Days’ EP written in and inspired by Ibiza. Topping things off will be London’s old school hip-hop crew, Applebum. This show will provide another seminal music moment for Ibiza when De La Soul make 12th August the magic number at Ibiza Rocks.

MTV will be the exclusive broadcast partner for Ibiza Rocks for the third year running, premiering six 30-minute artist specials and an hour-long compilation show on its flagship channel, MTV MUSIC and MTV LIVE on 5th & 6th September. As with both years previously, London based Production Company JJ Stereo will produce all the content, which will be hosted by Laura Whitmore.

This summer sees Ibiza Rocks celebrate ten incredible and influential years on the White Isle with a 14 week-long series of spectacular outdoor shows that will bring together festival giants, music icons and the best of the new breed of rising stars. One of the island’s biggest parties, Cream Ibiza, joins Float Your Boat in 2015!

With fresh new bookings and another huge summer ahead, Ibiza’s best boat party has now teamed up with none other than Cream Ibiza, who are gearing up for an incredible 21st season on the white Island. 

Setting sail every Thursday from San Antonio beginning June 11th to coincide with their Opening Party, Cream will celebrate their coming of age with Float Your Boat, featuring the island finest residents Ibiza Sonica’s Clara da Costa, Andy Baxter, Paul Reynolds and one of the original Cream Ibiza residents, Jason Bye.

Playing an extra special Cream Terrace classics set, Jason will be taking revelers through 21 years of music for the Cream birthday on July 30th ahead of what’s arguably the season’s biggest event, with the legendary Sasha joining exclusive resident Eric Prydz on the fabled Terrace for a truly spectacular birthday blowout.

Colors Presents The Redlight, Thursdays at Sankeys Ibiza

Sankeys are delighted to be reviving another one of the many legendary nights that has been associated with the club over the years. Originally Thursdays were going to be called “Colors” (David Vincent’s first ever party at the Hacienda which was based on a US house and UK garage sound), but since the announcement it appears there is another night called “Colors” in San Antonio. So, to avoid any confusion, Colors Productions will now be presenting the new night under the banner, THE REDLIGHT and playing each week will be a mouth watering selection of house and garage superstars from across the ages.

The History of THE REDLIGHT is not too dissimilar to the Colors story, another legendary night but this time at Sankeys Soap in Manchester. The club felt it was a good replacement with there being a strong bond between what the two nights stood for. THE REDLIGHT was born out of Tribal Sessions in the 2000s and, with its US garage and sexy house vibes, it is a perfect fit for the intimate and personal Basement & LAB experience that will be on offer week in week out at Sankeys Ibiza. Legend also says it was born after a sleazy hazy visit to the red light district in Amsterdam in 2001 by some of the Sankeys Soap promoters at the time.

The Redlight has definitely pulled out all the stops to secure some real legends to front the night. These come in the form of New York house figureheads the S-MAN aka ROGER SANCHEZ and house pioneer TODD TERRY plus chart topping TOUGH LOVE and hot underground house star, LOW STEPPA. Joining these household names will be the original residents MATT JAM LAMONT (one of the pioneers of the UK garage scene) and SAM HOLT (a long standing Defected label artist as part of the Copyright house duo) as well as the Mental Genius crew will also be hosting Spektrum each week.

These great residents will be joined by legendary stars from around the world every Thursday… and they really are big, and come from the very top of the house and garage worlds. From the opening party on the 11th of June through to the closing party on the 24th of September, there will be plenty of house music stars to get excited about week in week out, with shows from legendary Danish sensation NOIR and TUBE and BERGER, big stars 99 SOULS aka Le Projet Secret, a UK house duo with real songwriting skills who have already had a guest mix on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show. Plus there are 4 shows with Garage don DJ EZ, 3 shows with CHRIS LORENZO, JUST BLAZE drops in for 1 show, legendary garage star MJ COLE is in for 2 shows, Specktre's Tour DJ and KISS radio host PREDITAH performs 4 times, WOOKIE and more all pop by and do their thing.

David Vincent says “I am so excited that I have the chance to present another one of our legendary Sankeys Soap parties to the island of Ibiza. If Tribal Sessions is my heart, then The Redlight is my soul and it will bring back my fondest memories of my earlier promoting days in a music format which I grew up to love. Working again alongside Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont & Sam Holt (my heads of music) has been a dream and I feel this sexy sleazy night (which is designed for the girls) will bring a different musical angle to the island which in my opinion has been missing since the earlier Subliminal days. This music programme that the Colors crew (including Avi Kogan) have designed will amalgamate sounds past, present and future in the US House and UK Garage sound, which will be in vogue on the white island this summer at Sankeys Ibiza”.

It’s the start of another sensational season on the sun-soaked White Isle and it’s all back to our House! Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Opening Party will take place on Friday 8th May, featuring an array of the islands favourite DJs and promoters playing poolside from 7pm whilst Rock Nights take over Chez Fez, Lo Cura Lounge swap pillow talk for party vibes in Bedroom 12 and Freddie’s welcomes Island heroes and special guests for surprise sets until 6am.

Since the incredible legacy of Pikes was fused with the ‘now’ of Ibiza Rocks in 2011, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes is THE place to party. Loved by bands, DJs, islanders and industry insiders, this hidden gem in the San An hills is Ibiza’s real home of the house party and one of the few places that represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic vibe of an increasingly by gone Ibiza era. With an anything goes attitude, allowing both guests and DJs ultimate freedom, House has hosted some of the most memorable events on the island, for all the right reasons. For those who would rather chill by the famous pool, a sumptuous tapas and cocktails menu will be served as the sun prepares to set and beyond.
