HYTE Ibiza 2015 - Full Season Line Up Confirmed

HYTE Ibiza releases its season calendar for a massive 18 week lineup at Ibiza’s Amnesia.

Running from 3rd June until 30th September, HYTE has brought together a selection of artists that collectively represent a new movement in Ibiza clubbing culture. Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, DJ Harvey and DJ Tennis all join for dates throughout the season, as well as Berlin’s DeWalta, Amnesia favourites Mar-T and Cuartero, and Ibiza’s new hero, WHO.

The lineup of guests runs deep; from legends such as Robert Hood as Floorplan and Kenny Dope, to big hitters from the underground such as Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd and Anthony Parasole. Island vibes come courtesy of favourites such as tINI, Guti and Point G AKA DJ Gregory. DJ Koze, Mano Le Tough and John Talabot each bring their own eccentricity into the mix, with Matthew Dear, Bicep, Job Jobse, Monoloc and Harvard Bass all creating a spectrum of diversity from melodic pop grooves to heavy hitting bass.

HYTE presents a musical vision that is crafted from the warehouses, clubs and beaches around the world. The original flavour of the island with the language and sounds of today.

There are a select few people who have become synonymous with Ibiza; Loco Dice is one of those people. The island has been his summer home for a decade and a half and last season he launched his highly successful Used + Abused residency. On an island renowned for people pushing for more year on year, constantly aiming for the ‘bigger’, or the ‘better’ it is very rare to see an artist take a step back. Last week Loco Dice had this to say -

“I’d like to announce that after 15 amazing years with Ibiza as my summer base, and an amazing USED + ABUSED season, it’s time to put in work on a few special projects (new music!!!), and get inspired from new places and new experiences along the way.

But no summer is complete without a visit to the island! I’ll be there just one time only to perform and celebrate my birthday with friends on Sunday August 10th at We Love Sundays At Space.

I’ll see you all on the Isla Blanca.”

On Sunday 10th August We Love presents Loco Dice’s 40th Birthday Party with an all star line up made up of a selection of his friends taking over Space’s 5 rooms from start to finish. Carl Cox at Space Ibiza Closing Party 2013

The Party

On Tuesday, 24 September Carl Cox and his Revolutionary crew join forces as The Party Unites @ Space draws to a close for 2013.

DJ Sneak, Loco Dice, tINI, Jon Rundell and Yousef will join Carl for one of the biggest, most anticipated events of the Ibiza calendar, as thousands of friends gather to celebrate yet another fantastic summer season, and say hasta la vista Ibiza until 2014.

The Music

The Party Unites brought together an unmatched array of DJs in 2013, affirming Carl as one of the industry’s premier talent spotters, and boldest programmers. Clubbers were treated to unforgettable music from Nic Fanciulli, Steve Rachmad, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Heidi, Eats Everything, Seth Troxler, Nina Kraviz, Masters at Work, Green Velvet, Nicole Moudaber and Loco Dice – among many others.

The People

Other club brands rise and fall, but the Revolution marches on. In 2013 many thousands of music-savvy clubbers from all over the world flocked to Space every Tuesday night to join what has become, over the course of the party’s 12 years in Ibiza, a joyful, uplifting rite of summer. The energy and loyalty of this global army of techno warriors are what give the Space parties their unique vibe. “The summer has been enormous success,” says Carl’s manager Lynn Cosgrave. “We have had some very special nights that have made history.”

The Magic

For the last two years Carl Cox has run a DJ contest to unearth brand-new talent for the Revolution. Andrea de Niro, from Greece, won in 2012 and returned to play again this summer: “Amazing night, amazing line ups, amazing crowd,” he says. “I enjoyed it even more than last year.”

The 2013 contest winners, Deiva and Djos, summed The Party Unites saying: “We spent a magic night that we will never forget.”
