Headline acts announced for Radio City Live Christmas bash

 

The biggest pop party in town Radio City Live is back for Christmas with another amazing line-up! Jessie J, Dappy, Pixie Lott and Matt Cardle have already been announced to perform at the Echo Arena on Friday 2nd December 2011.

Chart topping Jessie J is a world wide star after wowing America with her recent performance at the MTV VMA's. She will be performing tracks from her debut album 'Who You Are'

Three essential albums, two million record sales, several sell out tours and four MOBO awards later, one third of the UK’s biggest urban act, N-Dubz star Dappy returns to Liverpool for Radio City Live!

Dappy has achieved unprecedented success as part of N-Dubz, without question one of the most culturally significant groups in contemporary British pop music. Their albums ‘Uncle B,’ ‘Against All Odds’ and ‘Love.Live.Life’ have to-date sold over 1 million copies in the UK.

Matt Cardle was last year's X-Factor winner and has just followed up the number one success of his winners song 'When We Collide' with a new album set for release on 17th October

Pixie Lott's latest single 'All About Tonight' was her third UK number 1 following success with 'Mama Do' and 'Girls and Boys'. The singer songwriter will be bringing a touch of glamour to proceedings.

LOVE.LIVE.LIFE Tour extended following unprecedented demand.

After selling out arenas across the country and due to phenomenal demand, N-Dubz have added further dates to their LOVE.LIVE.LIFE Tour.

The band are delighted to announce new dates at O₂ Academy venues in Bristol, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool and Oxford this May.

Throughout April, N-Dubz have been playing across the UK on their debut arena tour, the first of its kind by a UK urban act. The tour included stops at the Manchester Evening News Arena and the massive O₂ in London, playing to sell out crowds of 15,000. Now, the band are excited to close the tour with a set of more intimate shows at O₂ Academy venues.

Radio City Live adds more acts to their Line up

Radio City 96.7 is bringing top chart acts to Liverpool this summer in a one off gig called Radio City LIVE! to perform at Echo Arena on Sunday 15 August.

Radio City have teamed up with some of the hottest bands around to put on an amazing show.

Professor Green and Tinchy Stryder are the latest big names to join the star-packed line-up for ‘Radio City LIVE’.

With two number 1 singles already under his belt, Tinchy will be sharing the stage with 13 other acts who will help create the biggest live music event of the year in Merseyside.

Radio City LIVE takes place on August 15 at the Liverpool Echo Arena and already includes the likes of The Saturdays, Gabrielle Cilmi, Diana Vickers, Scouting for Girls, N-Dubz, Alesha Dixon and The Hoosiers to name but a few. Between them, the acts announced so far have clocked up over 50 hit singles and sold millions of albums.

Latest addition Professor Green started out in music as a rap artist at the age of 18 and has just confirmed that he will feature on a remix of The Saturdays' new single 'Missing You'- also a confirmed act for Radio City LIVE.

Vanessa from The Saturdays’ spoke to Radio City about how much the band is looking forward to returning to the city: “We love performing in Liverpool – the people are lovely. We are so excited to be coming to see you guys again.”

Having just celebrated having her first number 1 single and album, North West X-Factor sensation Diana Vickers also revealed her excitement about the event: “I can not wait to perform at Radio City LIVE. It’s going to be a great gig and I’m really looking forward to coming back to Liverpool.”
