MT release new video Incredible and announce dates with The Polyphonic Spree

MT have announced the release of a brand new EP, ‘What We Are’, this coming July, as well as hitting the road with The Polyphonic Spree in June.

Recorded in Berlin and London, the new EP release shows the ever-increasing length and breadth of what MT can deliver. Their reputation for infectious pop continues with the excellent new video for EP track ‘Dear One’ which was unveiled this week. Whatever MT seem to go for, the result is nothing short of spectacular.

Over the past year MT have been stirring up a groundswell of hype, being championed by the likes of NME, Clash, DIY. They’re currently leading the Spotify Emerge competition in Australia and have been championed by John Kennedy on Xfm Xposure, having also won big support at BBC Radio One from Phil and Alice, Zane Lowe and Jen Long.

Not many bands can say they cut their teeth playing simultaneous residencies on the main stage of KOKO for Club NME and Ridley Road Market Bar (Wu’s). It’s no wonder MT have a reputation for euphoric live shows, prompting NME to tip the band as one of their 10 ‘Ones to Watch’ at last year’s Great Escape Festival.

MT delivered the single ‘Alpha Romeo’ at the end of last year, a pop anthem of seismic proportions that was produced by Dan Grech (Vaccines, Lana Del Ray). The record was playlisted at XFM and gained MT an avid fanbase that crammed into a packed show in January to catch the band at the new Hackney venue OSLO.

Following an arena tour with Panic! At The Disco this month, taking in Live at Leeds and Liverpool Sound City on the way, MT head out on the road again in June with The Polyphonic Spree. With songs like these and shows like Secret Garden Party in the calendar, it’s looking like the Summer of MT.
