PLAYHARD : London’s monthly global gig streamed live world wide. The best in new and old music favourites, plus the up and coming media and industry on the dance floor and at the bar.

4.30-7.30pm BandWagon Gigs mixer – artists, industry, media, promoters – grass roots and otherwise – socialise for connections galore/discount gig entry. “This mega-handy site aims to take gig bookings into the future” (NME). Now the USA are picking up on this up and coming site; http://bandwagongigs.com

7.30pm-3am – PLAYHARD live music until 12am and then after show party until 3am. "Perfect night out for those who like their beer cold, their music loud, and their tights laddered. I discovered one of my favorite new bands at Playhard" (Music Vice)

Streaming by GotSeen - the UK's fastest growing streaming channel, music website for unsigned bandsand a platform for artists to play LIVE to a global audience. Having live streamed events for brands including Giorgio Armani, Music Week and Oxfam, GotSeeN guarantees an audience for every broadcast.

Bad Wolf: So many other bands scamper around their genres like little lost puppies, Bad Wolf mean business; they let rip and take you on a rocket trip with a full-throttle howl at the moon!
"When they turn berserker, they sound like Matt Bellamy chained to a monster truck being dragged around a derby" (NME)
http://badwolfband.net @UKBadWolf New single, ‘Too Much Too Young’ http://youtu.be/FO_KPcuPlRY deserves to be massive.

Billy Bones; “If The Pogues and Gogol Bordello had dirty rough sex with Arcade Fire in the toilet of a dry docked old sailing ship themed pub and the filthy sprogs that popped out 9 months on were hand reared by The Clash and Hunter S Thompson, in a shit caravan decorated inside by Tim Burton parked on some wasteground upstairs in the Hawley Arms, and…. those sprogs grew up into a band, the chances are that the band would be named Billy Bones” (Daily Mail). http://billybonesband.com

Symphonic Pictures: A colourful mix of slow burning electronica, recalling Stereolab or Gruff Ryhs at their most hypnotic. The band list a spectrum of influences including experimental, pop, shoegaze, avant garde, art rock and new wave. This leftfield mix forgets their place in psychedelic space while engaging melody and structure. http://symphonicpictures.com * http://.facebook.com/symphonicpictures

The Last Of The Troubadours; An ambitious South London quartet loaded with tunes, swagger and edge. With a debut EP ‘Sooner The Better’ claiming cool feedback from luminaries like Edwyn Collins and early attention in all the right places, this sharp dressed and mod possessed outfit could be your new heroes. http://thelastofthetroubadours.com * @TLOTTROUBADOURS * http://on.fb.me/facebooktroubadours

Within weeks of forming, Blue Lip Feel recorded their 6-track EP ‘Shallow Getaway’, showcasing their distinctive, crunching sound. It’s 2011 release led to slots with national media darlings like Tribes, Kassidy and Various Cruelties. They then returned to the studio and refined their style further through ‘Glitterbox EP’ (March 2012). Outspoken, brash and confident, Blue Lip Feel see themselves as the antidote to the safe and mundane landfill littering our music scene. "This, my friends is one band to watch out for, as they rapidly accelerate up from the underground into the music ether." (WhatCulture)

The Rimes: “Not genre fuelled, but music driven.’ This pride of the Midlands outfit are on the rise courtesy of their Sixties tinged power pop and fervent fan base packing out venues and creating an early buzz. http://therimes.co.uk

The Purple Turtle, 65 Crowndale Road, Camden,  London, NW1 1TN

Play. Love. Music. Dance. Hard. The best in new music thrills and some established favourites with live streaming by GotSeen.

Exit Calm – heavily tipped for, and on the brink of, greatness. This is the show to catch before they head out on tour with Marion. “You will witness something that leaves you speechless and transfixed” (GigWise.com), “A penchant for all things epic” (Q Magazine), “So far out in front of the rest of the completion at present, it’s frightening” (Drowned In Sound)
Moones sold out Islington Academy on their first outing a few months ago and created an instant. Guitarist Laurent ‘Lags’ Barnard is better known for on stage rioting with one of the UK's best-known hardcore punk bands, Gallows, but Moones' sublime melodies and beautifully realised atmospheric soundscapes harken back to timeless British institutions, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. This is gonna be something special.
The Sea have won international fans acclaim, supported Muse, The Enemy, toured  UK, Europe and USA extensively, recorded their new album with producer John Cornfield (Muse, Supergrass, Oasis, Razorlight) and played 20 sellout gigs in seven countries in 22 days finishing triumphantly in London. After a hiatus recovering from an accident they continue their rise tonight. http://www.theseasounds.co.uk/

Pink Cigar
- have thundered through the London circuit earning a reputation for the fiercest live show in town (“instantly attention-grabbing stage antics” – Big Cheese), it's energy you just can't buy,. They’ve played with Razorlight, Eighties Matchbox B Line Disaster, are picking up press / festivals  / attention and launched their self released EP at a bursting Hawley Arms. http://www.pinkcigarmusic.com/

Plastic Youth – Southend new wavers produced by Verve guitarist, Nick McCabe.  - digging their danceable tunes, they release debut single ‘Death Row’ the week before this show.  https://www.facebook.com/thisplasticyouth

Morrissey & Marshall - soaringly beautiful in an epic, Dublin, style. When Greg Marshall decided to climb, uninvited, upon the stage already occupied by Darren Morrissey, and his (former) band a year ago, the ensuing double vocals created magic. They have writing and performing together ever since.  One month ago, live in Camden Town tube station; http://youtu.be/b7QpQi3OEUs

In the right place: Playhard co-presenters Heather Minx Ferguson (Minx Media) and Caffy St Luce (Rocklands) have found the right place to mix  up-for-it-crowds with their extended music and art family to make Entertainment with a capital E. The Purple Turtle – revamped and with a proper stage!  “The Turtle has become a more than respectable venue - like a larger, seething version of the 12 Bar Club.” (Daily Mirror). “The  place to be.” (Abolish Confusion). http://the-purple-turtle.com/
