Kerrang Tour 2015 with headliners Don Broco and We Are The In Crowd

Kerrang Tour 2015 with headliners Don Broco and We Are The In Crowd

Kerrang! the UK’s biggest selling music weekly magazine have announced dates for the Kerrang Tour 2015 and as always have selected the ultimate stellar line up.
Headlining the 12 date Kerrang! Tour 2015 will be non-other than headliners Don Broco who will be joined by main support We Are In The Crowd.

Billed as the bright, brute new force in British rock; Don Broco have numerous sold out UK tours under their belt including a sold out show at London’s Roundhouse, been crowned Best New Rock Act by iTunes, played the main stage at Reading and Leeds, received a prestigious Kerrang! Award nomination and topped the rock charts with their debut album, topped the rock charts with their debut album and recently had top 40 success with their single ‘You Wanna Know’. Not too bad for the quartet who played on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds just 3 years ago.  Don Broco’s rise is hardly surprising as fans and critics alike have embraced their hook laden rock tunes with wide open arms.

On headlining the tour Don Broco said:
‘We are absolutely gagging for this tour to come about already! Off the back of Reading and Leeds we couldn't be more psyched to play shows again, it feels mental that we haven't done a headline tour in almost a year! We've been busy writing our new album and can't wait to unleash these new songs for the first time, plus it's going to be amazing having the WATIC guys along. We've got to see them play at various festivals over the last few years and they totally kill it, will be awesome to get to watch em every night! It's a massive honour for us to be headlining a tour we've seen so many of our heroes play when we've been there as punters, so to be looking out from on stage this time will be an incredible feeling. That, plus the possibility of a hot and steamy tour romance between Tay and I is going to make for compulsive viewing.’

Joining Don Broco are the self-proclaimed ‘Weird Kids’ of Pop-Punk, We Are The In Crowd. The Poughkeepsie, NY quintet – consisting of lead vocalist Tay Jardine, vocalist/guitarist Jordan Eckes, guitarist Cameron Hurley, bassist Mike Ferri and drummer Rob Chianelli have also had a whirlwind rise since forming in 2009. The band released their debut EP, 'Guaranteed To Disagree', in 2010, debut full-length, 'Best Intentions', in 2011, before the release of current album, 'Weird Kids', earlier this year saw the band shake off their "new kids on the pop-punk block" tag and become real contenders in their own right. This will be We Are The In Crowd first UK shows since their Slam Dunk festival appearances earlier this year.

URFront woman, Tay said:
"We cannot wait for the Kerrang Tour! The magazine's always supported us and we're stoked to be part of it. The bill's an exciting one too! Hopefully there's something for everyone. Let’s get weird!"

The new Kerrang! 2015 dates follow a sold out 11 date tour earlier this year which featured Limp Bizkit, Crossfaith, Nekrogoblikon and Baby Godzilla.  Kerrang! always hand pick the most talked about and hotly tipped bands, and 2015’s line up is no exception so watch this space for further band announcements.

“Last year was a blast,” says Kerrang! Editor James McMahon, “and standing side of stage for Limp Bizkit, a band I truly love, was both a thrill and an honour. But, with this year being the tenth anniversary of the tour, we’ve decided to return to the very essence of what this tour has always been about. New rock music. The music that roars out of the pages of the magazine each week, out of the airwaves, and the screens of TV, demanding your attention. You will not find four hotter rock bands on the planet right now than Don Broco, We Are The In Crowd, and… well, wait and see!”

Kerrang! is the world’s biggest weekly music magazine, attracting an influential, passionate young audience across online, radio, TV and print. With the relaunch of its website, Kerrang! has extended its reach across the brand to over 5 million interactions every month. The annual Kerrang! Awards attract the biggest names in rock and the sell-out Kerrang! Tour presents an amazing opportunity for readers to engage directly with the brand. First published 33 years ago, Kerrang! Continues to celebrate the best in rock music and in January 2014 marked the anniversary of its 1500th issue.

Metallica, You Me At Six and Paramore are among the nominees for this year's Kerrang! Awards.

Surrey rockers You Me At Six are up for five gongs for Best Single, Best Album, Best British Band, Best Live Band and Hottest Male, for guitarist Max Helyer, after their album 'Cavalier Youth' hit the number one spot.

Metallica, who are rumoured to be headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival, have been nominated for Best International Band and Best Film for 'Through The Never', while Paramore are up for Best Live Band and Best Event for Parahoy!

The acts join Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds To Mars, Green Day and 5 Seconds of Summer in a number of categories.

Kerrang! Editor James McMahon said: ''This is the third Relentless Kerrang! Awards I've presided over now, and I don't think I've been quite this excited before.

''There are bands nominated I love, legends lined up that I respect, and the party itself will contain some unforgettable surprises.

''It's a testament to the strength and size of the rock scene right now that bands as diverse as 5 Seconds Of Summer and Behemoth, and Baby Godzilla and You Me At Six can galvanise a community to vote in their thousands.''

He added: ''Respect to Kerrang! readers for remaining the most loyal, passionate, cool-ass music fans on the planet. We hope our 2014 party does you justice.''

The event takes place on Thursday, June 12 at London's Troxy.

Kerrang Tour 2014 - Limp Bizkit and special guests Crossfaith and Nekrogoblikon

Kerrang! Tour 2014 - Limp Bizkit and special guests Crossfaith and Nekrogoblikon

Kerrang! Tour 2014 - Limp Bizkit and special guests Crossfaith and Nekrogoblikon

Get ready, the Kerrang! Tour is back for 2014 with 11 huge nights across the UK and Ireland.

Kerrang!, the UK’s biggest selling music weekly magazine, have created another stellar line up for February next year featuring headliners Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum Florida titans Limp Bizkit, Japanese Metalcore five piece Crossfaith and goblin core band Nekrogoblikon.

Following the success of the 2013 tour, which featured Black Veil Brides, Chiodos, Tonight Alive and Fearless Vampire Killers, Kerrang! always hand pick this year’s the most talked about and hotly tipped bands, and 2014’s line up is no exception.

Nu Metal veterans Limp Bizkit headline this year’s tour. The formidable Fred Durst [vocals], Wes Borland [guitars], Sam Rivers [bass], and John Otto [drums] will be bringing their trademark sound back to the UK. The tour follows a stellar second stage headline set at Download Festival which showed that no band gets the crowd bouncing like Limp Bizkit.  The band recently released the first single off new label Cash Money Records "Ready to Go” featuring Lil Wayne! which smashed the iTunes rock chart. On headlining the tour Fred Durst said:

"It's an honour to headline the Kerrang! Tour. It's a really inspirational and motivational thing for Limp Bizkit. We're going through a pretty amazing phase in our journey and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Kerrang! Tour will be the official launch of [new album] Stampede Of The Disco Elephants. I can't tell you how magical that feels. It's gonna get chaotic and wild!"

Joining Limp Bizkit on the Kerrang! tour are the brilliant Crossfaith, who took on the Rock stage at Reading and Leeds Festival at the weekend. The Japanese metal five piece are due to release new album ‘Apocalyze’ on September 9th and exclusively revealed their latest video Eclipse on Kerrang.com last month. Kenta Koie (vocals) added:

"Thank you so much for having us back to your beautiful country! This is our favourite country to tour and we are so excited to be coming back! Limp Bizkit is a huge influence on our music and we are incredibly honoured to be asked to tour with them. Please come out to the show as there might be a few special surprises. Come and have a drink and party!"

Also on the bill are California’s Nekrogoblikon whose new album ‘power’ received a 5 K review by Kerrang! this week making it a total classic. Since bursting out with 2012 single ‘No One Survives’ fans have been going CRAZY for their monstrous skull-crushing music and caused mayhem on the Pepsi Max stage at Download Festival this summer. Vocalist Nicholas Von Doom said:

"Hello friends in space! Come rock out with us and the rest of the bands this winter for the Kerrang tour. It's going to sleigh. Ha ha ha. Seriously though, the show's gonna be ill, dope and rad, ya dig? Come."

They are the first ever Goblin Metal Band and will sure be bringing their biggest fan John Goblikon onto the road.

The fourth and final band will be announced in due course, so watch this space!

“I’m really excited about the 2014 Kerrang! Tour,” says Kerrang! Editor James McMahon. “I’m especially pleased we’ve got the ticket down to £20 because it’s really important for us to provide value for money to the rock fans who are the lifeblood of what we do. Limp Bizkit are basically the Kerrang! office house band - it’s what we play at work to get us through deadlines, and with Crossfaith and Nekrogoblikon joining the bill, I don’t think we’ve ever booked a more fun tour. Big beats, big bleeps and goblins. To paraphrase my grandfather, ‘he who is tired of goblins is tired of life. Get down’.

Tickets for the Kerrang! 2014 tour are available at www.aloud.com on pre-sale Wednesday 28th August. Tickets go on general Friday 30 August @ 9am www.gigsandtours.com  / 0844 811 0051 and www.ticketmaster.co.uk  / 0844 826 2826 – for Glasgow www.gigsinscotland.com / 0844 499 9990

“We are so stoked to get back out on the road, and it will be a great time hanging with our buddies in Decade” adds Light You Up guitarist Drew Masters “We've been blown away by the response to our 'Broken Jaw' EP so we can't wait to get out in people’s faces and see it for ourselves. It’s the perfect start to 2013 for us.”

“Atticus has always been about supporting the new bands that we love watching and hanging out with” says Tony Arthy of Atticus Beer “For us, that’s exactly what this tour is about.”

Decade have just finished recording their long awaited debut album with Romesh Dodangoda (The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses, Lost Prophets) set for a spring 2013 release and Light You Up are set to record their full length in the US during summer 2013.
