Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Lil Twist’s “Twerk” Single Leaked

Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Lil Twist’s “Twerk” Single Leaked

It’s clear that twerking isn’t going away. Miley Cyrus is infamous for loving this particular dance craze, and now it looks like a new “twerk anthem” has leaked featuring Miley, Justin Bieber and Lil Twist

As reported this week, the new track titled “Twerk” was unofficially leaked this morning, yet it was confirmed in July that Justin Bieber and Lil Twist were working on a duet together. Could this be the song we’ve been waiting for? The song kicks off with the “We Can’t Stop” star singing a short chorus about rolling up to a party and how it’s time to twerk. In the past few months we’ve seen Miley become sort of an impromptu “queen” of twerking, and whenever she has the chance to shake her cakes, she gives it all she’s got.  So this song is long overdue.

Even though the single was leaked this morning, it isn’t a surprise to many that this  collaboration took place. As reported back in June Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were spotted at a L.A. dance club grinding and having casual conversation. One could only speculate whether or not the idea for the collaboration was initially discussed earlier this summer.

Now that the single has leaked, hopefully we’ll have an official video right around the corner. Knowing the wild creativity of Miley, Justin and Lil Twist you can probably expect the video to be just as wild, if not even crazier.

Dozens of the band's fans sent in user submitted video of themselves holding a sign with words of encouragement and wisdom, in hopes to cheer up the final viewer of the video. The fan videos play alongside video clips of the band performing their original song titled "If Worries Were Weights", a song that strikes a chord on losing love, and moving on in one's darkest hour.

The video was released to thousands of views within hours of being made public, and has received an overwhelming amount of positivity from viewers. The band has given out a personal and direct phone number with the words "This band is here for you. MusicMafia presents 22 year old songwriter Black Vendetta

Black Vendetta

MusicMafia presents 22 year old songwriter Black Vendetta

Black Vendetta is a 22 year old songwriter and rhythm guitarist, from Harrogate. He spent 3 years of his life in bands, one of which was within touching distance of making it work, and in the end it was only drummers, bassists, singers, lead guitarists, venues, people in general, circumstances in general, life in general and my location at the time that prevented him from achieving this.

School predictably failed and thereafter finding little else in Harrogate other than the guy who plays Marlon in Emmerdale (who apparently is a truly miserable bastard if you ever happen to see him in real life!) and a truly awful nightclub known as the moko lounge, he decided to come to London and change his strategy along the way.

He is a solo artist , using guest singers for the purposes of live performance. If topic matters such as depression, alienation, rejection, recreational drug misuse, failure, cripling anxiety disorders and the occasional reference to death float your boat then my word does he have a treat for you!

Is Tropical release new single - The Greeks

IS TROPICAL
NEW SINGLE – ‘THE GREEKS’
VIDEO BY MEGAFORCE
RELEASED ON KITSUNÉ / COOPERATIVE MUSIC 30TH MAY 2011
Recent signings to the KITSUNÉ label, IS TROPICAL are set to release a new single on the 30th of May.
‘The Greeks’, the follow up to the recent ‘South Pacific’ single, is the band’s third release and is a taste of what to expect from their debut album Native to, which is due on KITSUNÉ / CO-OP on the 13th of June 2011 in UK/Europe and the 14th of June in the US. The new single will be accompanied by what may turn out to be the most funny and outrageous video you’ll see this year, made by French hot shots MEGAFORCE.
WATCH THE FULL VERSION HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwrbyVaC6EU
IS TROPICAL describe the collaboration: “After a couple months of teasing us with clips, screen-tests and storyboards, legendary video interlopers Megaforce have finished their video treatment for our new single, The Greeks. Filmed in a sleepy French suburb in god-knows-where, and starring a group of the coolest kids in the cul-de-sac, The Greeks' video reflects the song -- it's about everything, and kinda nothing, and being young, or something”.
“Part Rumblefish, part Die Hard, part Akira, we wanted to work together to create something both visually appealing and aesthetically relevant to the band. We like kids, we like gangs, we really like daydreaming and imagination; the video straddles the line between nostalgia and the visual death-porn of our generation - the action film. Don't get carried away by politics - this is a straight-up kid brawl the way it played out in your head when you were stealing your mums mascara to be like Arnie in Predator. It isn't a shocking rebuke to our drama queen, populist news culture either - just naive, blissful shoot-yr-mate until he's definitely dead war-games - the way you wish it still could be”.
‘When we asked MEGAFORCE how they came up with the concept, they simply answered: "we've been wanting to make such a video since the age of 6 !"
