Royal Blood Kick Off Massive U.S. Tour This Weekend at Coachella
BRIT and NME Award-winning UK duo Royal Blood return to the U.S. this weekend to kick off an extensive U.S. tour that will include the band's debut appearance at Coachella the next two weekends. On Monday, April 13th the band will launch a headlining run of dates with a SOLD OUT show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, followed by seven more SOLD OUT headlining dates. Royal Blood will also appear at the Governors Ball and Bonnaroo festivals this summer and will support the Foo Fighters for 16 dates. For a complete itinerary, see below.
Following their explosive live performance at the BRIT Awards in London this past February, Royal Blood will perform their current single "Figure It Out" on Conan on Thursday, April 16th at 11:00p / 10:00p CST* on TBS. (*Check local listings)
Fresh off winning two NME Awards for 'Best Live Band' and 'Best New Band' and a BRIT Award for 'Best British Group', Royal Blood have spent the year touring around the globe and winning over audiences in support of their self-titled debut album, which was released on August 25th by Warner Bros. Records and debuted at Number 1 on the UK Album Chart. Shortly after, the album was nominated for the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize. The album has sold over 500,000 copies globally and been streamed over 35 million times on Spotify alone.
Royal Blood is a mixture of anguished vocals, ferocious drumming and bass that provides intricate detail as well as a rumble of rhythm. Entertainment Weekly praised the band's "muscle-car riffs and bluesy snarls", while Rolling Stone proclaimed "the band is surely well on its way to becoming a household name." Pitchfork noted the band's "crushing, contorted groove" and "telepathic sense of connectivity". USA Today declared them "the biggest breakouts in rock this year."

Nicole Moudaber To Release 'One Day Later' EP On Carl Cox's Intec Digital
Nicole Moudaber To Release 'One Day Later' EP On Carl Cox's Intec Digital
After a stellar year, Nicole Moudaber enters 2014 with a sublime EP on Carl Cox's Intec Digital, following her impressive 'In The MOOD' showcase at The BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Relive the sets from Tom Peters, Chris Liebing and Moudaber herself at BPM, now available on-demand at Be-At.TV.
Having started 2013 with her ‘Roar’ EP for the same label, Moudaber sets up 2014 with an equally impressive release for the techno monolith, Intec– and it's already caught the critics' ears. "This techno stomper packs both drive and energy in abundance," said Mixmag of title track "One Day Later." "It's dark and brooding and would bring a warehouse party to its knees." Meanwhile, "Parts Unknown" has a carnival flair, with a subtle rolling rhythm, intricate drum patterns and a chugging bass.
Moudaber has seen a remarkable year with the launch of her new label, MOOD Records, and host of high profile gigs across the globe including Music On, Space Ibiza, Time Warp and Tresor among others. To coincide with her achievements, Moudaber was nominated in the Techno category for the highly respected DJ Awards alongside peers such as Carl Craig, Richie Hawtin, and Sven Väth. Finally, to round off the year Nicole entered the Resident Advisor Top 100 poll for the first time. Moudaber will kick off her North American tour this February with dates in Miami, continuing through Montreal, Toronto, Brooklyn, and a highly coveted booking at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival. Be on the look out for exciting news and dates to be announced for Miami Music Week 2014.

BeardyMan announces new UK tour dates 2013
BeardyMan announces new UK tour dates 2013
Fresh from a recent appearance on the BBC Breakfast Show, TED in LA, two Coachella shows and a USA tour the AWESOMELY talented Beardyman heads to back to the UK with his brand new BEARDYTRON_BETA _TOUR which heads to major cities throughout the UK this June.
Beardyman recently unveiled at TED in LA his own custom build performance technology called BEARDYTRON_5000mkll which will be showcased in the UK for the first time throughout the June tour which features dates in London, Glasgow, Sheffield and Norwich.
Conceived with some of the best minds in the world of music technology on one of the most ambitious and technically demanding projects ever undertaken by a performing artist.
The culmination of years of research, design and development, the Beardytron5000mkII has been a closely guarded secret until now, and with good reason. It is insane. It can do things literally nothing else can, and with this new system, Beardyman is finally free from the trappings of other peoples technology. To hear what he can do now has to be experienced to be believed.
NEW UK DATES
2nd June – Arches, Glasgow
3rd June – Leadmill, Sheffield
4th June – Waterfront, Norwich
6th June – Koko, London
Due to an unforeseen technical issue the UK Beardytron_Beta_Tour has had to be postponed to the earliest dates available at the above venues. This production issue does not affect the One Album Per Hour musical comedy show at Brighton Festival due to a different technical set up. This will still take place on Saturday 4th May where the Beardytron and its master will be in full effect.
“I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but it’s completely out of my control. I understand this will be a massive ball ache to many of you and I really hope you can make the new dates and to see you there.”
As a taster of what’s to come at One Album Per Hour (where the audience give Beardyman the song titles and he has to create the songs live) and the mayhem in store for the Beardytron_Beta_Tour, here’s a clip of some improvised Tampax_Saville_Elton inspiration at the Button Factory in Dublin at the end of last year

Beyonce and Jay-Z at Coachella Music Festival
The Coachella Music Festival is well underway and on Friday night rapper Jay-Z brought the house down with a guest appearance from his beautiful wife Beyonce.
Beyonce was not on the list of performers to appear this weekend, making it a nice surprise for concert goers.
Before his wife took to the stage, Jay-Z performed a number of hits including; “Run This Town” and “99 Problems.”
The pair performed a version of “Young Forever” as part of Jay-Z’s encore, ending in a massive firework display.
Other bands scheduled to perform at the festival include; Vampire Weekend, BoB, The xx, and LCD Soundsystem.
The festival is an annual event held in California and brings together some of the best musical talent the country has to offer.

Iceland's volcano leaves a cloud over Coachella Festival
Gary Numan, Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr are among the British musicians stranded in the UK following the volcanic eruption in Iceland, putting their performances at Coachella in jeopardy. The music festival in California begins today, but UK flights remain grounded after volcanic ash effected flying conditions across Europe.
"The last thing I expected this morning when I woke up was to hear that volcanic ash might be preventing us from flying to America," wrote Gary Numan, on his blog. He is due to play on Sunday (18 April) and said there is still a chance he'll make it on time.
However, the Cribs had to cancel their slot, with Johnny Marr writing on their MySpace page: "Unfortunately, despite a Herculean effort we won't be able to play at Coachella this year. We are pretty gutted to be frank, currently languishing in the grimmest ferry port after waiting for good news about free airspace that never came."
Meanwhile Bernard Sumner announced the cancellation of a gig in San Francisco that his band Bad Lieutenant were due to play today. The band are also due to play Coachella tomorrow (17 April) but have not yet officially cancelled their spot.
Frightened Rabbit, Los Campesinos and DJ Mary Anne Hobbs have also suffered flight delays.
The Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted on 14 April, forcing hundreds to evacuate their homes. The ash cloud that formed has since drifted across Europe, causing flight delays in several countries.
